JUMP was a landing page designed and developed to support an internal company event centred around the annual concept “Jump”.
The objective was to translate the energy, ambition and forward momentum associated with the theme into a digital experience that could both communicate the event and encourage employee participation through registrations.
The Challenge
Internal corporate events often struggle to generate excitement and engagement, especially when communication is delivered through traditional channels such as emails or internal announcements.
The challenge was to create a dedicated digital experience capable of transforming a simple event registration process into something more memorable, reinforcing the annual company vision while increasing participation.
Research & Insight
Through discussions with stakeholders and a review of previous internal communication initiatives, it became clear that participation was strongly influenced by perception and emotional engagement rather than logistics alone.
Employees needed to understand not only what the event was about, but also why it mattered.
The concept of “Jump” represented growth, ambition, change and stepping outside of comfort zones. This became the foundation for the experience.
Rather than presenting event information in a traditional format, the design focused on creating a sense of momentum and anticipation that reflected the message behind the event itself.
Design Approach
The visual language was built around movement, progression and energy.
Large typography, bold visual elements and dynamic compositions were used to reinforce the idea of taking the next step and embracing new challenges.
Information was progressively revealed throughout the page, guiding users from the event concept towards practical details and ultimately the registration process.
The experience balanced inspiration and utility, ensuring users remained engaged while still being able to quickly access key event information.
User Experience Considerations
Particular attention was given to the registration journey.
The flow was intentionally simplified to reduce friction and encourage completion, allowing employees to move from discovery to registration with minimal effort.
The content hierarchy was designed to answer three fundamental questions:
- What is this event?
- Why should I care?
- How do I participate?
By addressing these questions in a clear sequence, the landing page helped transform awareness into action.
Development
The landing page was designed and developed from scratch using HTML, CSS and JavaScript, allowing complete control over both the visual experience and performance.
Beyond the front-end experience, the project included the integration of Mailchimp APIs to manage event registrations and automate participant communications. Once registered, attendees were automatically added to the event audience and received confirmation emails containing personalised QR codes used for event access and attendance management.
Building the platform from the ground up made it possible to create a seamless connection between marketing, registration and event operations, reducing manual administration while ensuring a smooth experience for participants from sign-up through to event entry.
The project demonstrates the value of combining design and development within the same process, enabling the experience, business objectives and technical implementation to evolve together as a cohesive product.
Outcome
The result was a landing page that went beyond event promotion.
It became a digital expression of the annual company theme, helping communicate a shared vision while providing a simple and engaging path for employee registrations.
The project demonstrates how design can be used not only to inform, but also to reinforce culture, create emotional engagement and encourage participation around a common goal.
